What do you remember most about your first day on the job?

I remember being worried about my husband at home with both kids including the nine-month-old baby.

What is the best part of working at Sobeys?

It's like family. It's a second home to me, and I love it.

What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?

My proudest moment is when customers recognize me outside of the store, even after many years. We were in Jamaica and a customer recognized me from 20 years ago.

What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?

All the friends I have made with both customers and employees.

What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?

If you like meeting people then you will love being a Sobeys employee. I really connected with people as a cashier, they tell you stories.
