What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
The family atmosphere in our store is incredible. We have lots of hugs, lots of high-fives.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
When I received a Governor General's Meritorious Service Medal for inclusive hiring. Our employees represent every walk of life, every nationality, and every ability within the community. It's an initiative that we've been working hard on for the past few years.
What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?
My favourite memory is Ed Beaton rolling up his sleeves, grabbing a head of lettuce out of the garbage and saying, ?This is where your profit is going!?
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Work hard and be proud of the amazing company you work for.
