What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
It was so busy. There was no scanning then, so everything that you keyed in was by price and there were a lot of codes to memorize.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
When I applied for and was given the position as a specialist on the road after working throughout the years at store level. That was my goal.
What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?
A lot of fun, friends and many celebrations. I've made a lot of friends over the years, and I met my husband at Sobeys.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Every customer is a family member.
Who do you most admire?
My daughter. She took a bus to school every day, and she worked a full-time job at the same time. It amazed me that she worked that hard to get to her goal.
