What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
Back then people in Ontario didn't know what Sobeys was -- things have changed!
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
I love that I get to do a lot of different things, bringing together operations, merchandising, even HR, and tying it all together. There are new challenges every day, which makes it interesting.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
My proudest moment was being awarded a gold badge as a grocery manager. Also, I was in Alberta when we bought Safeway, that was exciting. I'm proud to be part of the Sobeys team.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Work hard, then look for the next thing to do, and build a good network of support and friends across many departments.
