What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
It was a busy Friday night on parcel pickup. I mixed up orders and I thought ?with all these mistakes I won't last long.? That was 31 years ago.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
Working with my wife and having that under- standing and support; all three of our kids have worked for Sobeys too. It's a family business and it's part of our family's culture too.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
As a store manager we won Store of the Year for our district.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Understand the size of the company and the opportunities that lie within.
