What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
How welcoming everybody was.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
The freedom to do what you do best every day. I had the opportunity to build up loss prevention teams across Canada, from two people to 42 when I left. It's a challenge to find the right people for security and loss prevention, and I think we did and still have the right people.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
Receiving one of the top scores in the country on our Employee Engagement survey with 100% compliance. And being part of the Sobeys 100th anniversary celebration, that's something that stands out.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Work hard and get involved in self-development.
