What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
I remember being scared and excited for my first day on the job. I started out making $3.80 an hour.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
The best part of working at Sobeys was the multitude of different job opportunities I've had over the years. It has kept things interesting and I always enjoy learning.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
My proudest moment was when I became a Sobeys Store Manager in 2005.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Work hard and always keep pushing forward with your goals.
Who do you most admire?
I most admire my husband for having the courage and determination to open his own business. It has been a lot of hard work but it's been open for nine years.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I enjoy living in Halifax and couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
