What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
I made a faux pas on my first day, which was in winter. I was carrying my office shoes in a bag from the competitor. When I signed in the receptionist said ?no, wrong bag? and gave me the right one to use.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
It's a collection of smaller achievements. I move from project to project, we celebrate when we meet our target, and the work starts all over.
What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?
I love coding -- it's satisfying to take ownership of my work.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
People are friendly and helpful, don't be afraid to ask for help. I made a lot of friends here.
