What do you remember most about your first day on the job?

I learned how to use a mop and using the loudspeaker system -- that was frightening at first.

I have worked with hundreds of dedicated co-workers at stores and in the office, and the best part of Sobeys is always the people.

What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?

These vary depending on the role I was in. It ranges from being complimented for creating an attractive seafood display, to being thanked for a new business plan that will improve a store; that's very rewarding.

What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?

Take advantage of career opportunities, respect your co-workers, and always place the customer first.
